Mykola Tomenko: the First Stage of the Action "Let Us Renovate Zaporizhska Sich" is completed
Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has announced that the first stage of the action "Let us renovate Zaporizhska Sich" is completed. As one of the action initiators he has expressed content regarding the campaign on money collection for the competition of the historical-cultural building of the complex "Zaporizhska Sich" on the territory of the "Khortytsia" reserve.
In particular, M. Tomenko announced that the first stage if money collection through phone calls and messages. According to him approximately 5 thousand citizens took part in the action.
The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has expressed gratitude to all the mobile operators that have supported the action and all its participants.
He also has informed that the second stage of the action is being held now through the welfare aid on the account of the Charity Foundation of "Khortytsia" reserve.
M. Tomenko is convinced that the successful first stage testifies that opening of the main buildings of the complex would be held according to the plan on the 14th of October 2009.
